Coming from Cape Town on the N2
- Take the N2 – airport road towards Somerset West
- Take Exit 33 (Baden Powell Road – Stellenbosch) turnoff
- Turn left at the top of the slip road
- Travel on the R310, turn right at the traffic light (M12) – towards Stellenbosch
- Turn left at the traffic light (R44 Wellington, R310 Franschhoek)
- Following the directions coming from Stellebosch
Coming from Cape Town on the N1
- Take the N1 out of town towards Paarl
- Take Ext 39 (Klipheuwel / Stellebosch) turnoff
- Turn right at the bottom of the slip road towards Stellenbosch
- Travel on the R304 pass Kyamandi on your right. Turn left at the traffic light, Adam Tas Road (Bird Street and R44 intersection)
- Turn right at the next traffic light travel (R310 Franschhoek) via Helshoogte Pass for approximately 9km.
- Following the directions coming from Stellebosch
Coming from Stellenbosch
- Travel on the R44, pass the traffic lights at Bird Street R44 intersection and turn right at the next traffic light (R310 Franschhoek via Helshoogte, Cloetesville / Tannentville is on your left)
- Travel on the Helshoogte pass for approximately 8 kms pass Delaire Graff, Tokara and Le Pommier Restaurant, until you reach the Zevenrivieren Road, (approximately 800 m pass Le Pommier Restaurant on your left)
- Turn right into Zevenrivieren Road and continue on the tar road into the valley for approximately 1 km until you reach the sharp left turn hairpin bend to your left.
- At the bend, go straight up the mountain (Institute of Cullinary Arts sign) and pass through the white gate posts.
- Continue on the dirt road up the mountain, keeping right all the way until you reach the ICA sign board - student parking OR reception / visitors.
