WHY CHOOSE ICA?

Learn from the best

A professional chef has to know and understand the science behind the art of culinary creation. They must develop their palate, think ahead, know classical ratios by heart, and strive for constant perfection.

Therefore, it is no surprise that ICA-trained chefs are sought after locally and abroad, where they continue to breathe inspiration into the culinary world, pushing boundaries and setting benchmarks for others to follow.

With a curriculum designed to foster innovation and precision, the ICA equips its students with the skills to excel in high-pressure kitchens and creative culinary spaces. Our graduates are not only chefs but visionary leaders who shape the future of gastronomy.

We devote a large portion of our tuition to practical training, as this provides students with a solid foundation and the freedom to explore new techniques and trends. Students spend between 20 to 24 hours per week on intensive individually-focussed practical training, conducted under an impressive student/lecturer ratio of 6:1.
