ICA Celebrates 21 Years of Training Excellence

ICA turns 21 whilst celebrating 2 international gold medal awards!

The 20th of September 2017 commemorated the many talented young ICA-trained chefs that have put South Africa center-stage of the International culinary arena with a celebration of food as an expression of art at Youngblood Art Gallery in Breë Street in Cape Town.

The event was attended by highly respected industry professionals and chefs, proud ICA alumni, prominent food journalists, media personalities and artists. Guests were reminded of the ICA’s steadfast philosophy in tertiary culinary education and exposed to sensory, edible culinary experiments and treated to cutting-edge canapés created by 10 selected alumni and perfectly executed by Johnny Hamman (Slippery Spoon Kitchen) and ICA’s student chefs.
